Management and Organizational Structure

The BDSC is envisioned to have a lean and mean staff whose main competence is the identification of business opportunities (by constantly studying the clients of CARD and the operation of CARD institutions), preparing feasibility studies to determine viability of identified business opportunities, preparing business plans for projects that are consistent with its core principles, looking for investments and managing such projects.

The core staff will be made up of ten (10) staff headed by a CEO and supported by a consultant. The BDSC reports directly to the Managing Director of the CARD-MRI. The main operation is divided into two. One component deals with Research and Development (Program Manager) which identifies the business opportunities and develops them into projects. Soon as the projects are determined to be viable, they are passed on to the Operations team which implements them.
